1. Copyright and trademarks

You’re not allowed to copy or modify the app, any part of the app, or our trademarks in any way. You’re not allowed to attempt to extract the source code of the app, and you also shouldn’t try to translate the app into other languages or make derivative versions. The app itself, and all the trademarks, copyright, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to it, still belong to Perceptify, Inc.

2. Age Restriction

This app is suitable for users aged 13 and above (or 16 where required by local law). Younger users should use this app under the guidance of a parent or guardian.

3. User Works

All memories, lists, captions, and other works created by the user using Glowset are owned by the user. Glowset is not legally responsible for the user’s work. Users are responsible for the work they create using Glowset, including ensuring they have the rights to any photos or content they capture or upload.

4. Data Backup and Loss

Glowset does not store your photos, videos, or memories on our servers, and the app does not provide a recycle bin or cloud backup function. All content you create or import in Glowset is stored only locally on your device. If you delete any content within the app, or uninstall the app from your device, the related data may be permanently lost and cannot be restored by us.

You are solely responsible for backing up your content (for example, by saving it to the iOS Photos app or other backup services). We are not liable for any loss of photos, videos, or other data resulting from your deletion of content or deletion/uninstallation of the app.

5. Use of the app

When you’re using the app, it’s important to bear in mind that although we endeavour to ensure that it is updated and correct at all times, we accept no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, you experience as a result of relying wholly on this functionality of the app. Place details, opening hours, and editorial scores or summaries shown in Glowset may be incomplete or out of date.

6. App update and system update

At some point, we may wish to update the app. The app is currently available on iOS (the system requirements may change), and you’ll need to download the updates if you want to keep using the app. We do not promise that we will always update the app so that it is relevant to you and/or works with the iOS version that you have installed on your device. However, you promise to always accept updates to the application when offered to you. We may also stop providing the app and may terminate use of it at any time without giving notice of termination to you. Unless we tell you otherwise, upon any termination:

(a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end;

(b) you must stop using the app and (if needed) delete it from your device.

7. Payment and subscriptions

All purchases (including one-time purchases and subscriptions) for our app are processed by Apple through the App Store, and are subject to Apple’s terms and conditions. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within the period permitted by Apple’s policies.

If you have an active subscription, you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings. If you experience any issues with your purchase or subscription, you can get help from Apple’s customer support.

8. Changes to These Terms and Conditions

We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
